Planning a Wedding – How to Plan a Low Budget Wedding

[ad_1]

Your wedding is one of the most important events in your life. Every bride wants a wedding that they will never forget. With some planning and creativity you can have the wedding of your dreams without going into debt.

The most important step in planning a wedding on a budget is to create a list of the items you must have for your wedding. By sticking to your list you are less likely to spend in areas that are not necessary.

Another tip for planning a wedding on a small budget is to purchase flowers that are in season and readily available. Avoid having your wedding in February when flowers are priced high due to Valentine’s Day.

Ask friends and family if they know an amateur photographer or someone trying to become a professional photographer. Many that are trying to break into professional photography will work for less money so they can build up a portfolio.

Create your own table centerpieces for a budget wedding. For our own wedding we purchased shallow glass containers at the craft shop, filled partially with water and lit floating candles. A very simple but elegant centerpiece that was budget friendly.

Eliminating wedding favors is another solution for saving money on your wedding but if you are set on having wedding favors, creating your own wedding favors can save you money. A great low budget wedding favor is to cut small squares of tulle, fill with birdseed and tie with a ribbon. You could also fill with flower seeds, jelly beans, let your imagination go wild.

A low budget wedding can be beautiful and memorable with proper planning and creativity.
