You can also give yourself ample time to find cheap wedding favors. You can not have this occasion without giving your guests a special gift as they leave. But, these can be extremely expensive. There are lots of ways that you can save money and still have a tasteful event. One thing that is always recommended is a video of your special day, of the ceremony and reception. Unfortunately, this can come at a very high price. Instead, just as some friends and family to videotape the event. At certain points, you can just let the camera run on its own. But, very easily you can assign one or two friends to the task which could save you thousands of dollars.

Of course, the photographs are a different story. Certainly, you can opt out of this as well. With digital cameras, even the worst amateur photographer can actually take some good photos. If not, try to get the best deal by hiring up-and-coming photographers. Perhaps student photographers would take on the job in a very reduced rate.

While there are still very many other ways to save money and still have a great party, one other cost that can be quite excessive is the flowers.
