Traditional White Wedding Favors

[ad_1]

If you are having a traditional white wedding then you may be considering traditional white wedding favors to coordinate. Whilst almonds and confections are the most traditional favors, many brides prefer to give their guests something a little more unique and special.

Your choice of packaging can go along way to creating the white wedding look you want; while the favor itself can be anything you want. Source some white favor boxes with a silk or satin finish; dress them with white ribbons (sometimes personalized with your names and wedding date) and traditional elements such as white doves, hearts or wedding bells.

Make up small bags from white silk or satin and fill them with candies, chocolates or even turn them in to spotted saches filled with lavender seeds or rose buds. These bags could also be decorated with lace or ribbon to give them a pretty finish.

Another way to package your favors is with tulle nets. These do take some practice to get them looking right, but once you master it you will create visually stunning favors. Choose three shades of white, ivory and cream for your nets and layer them up, tie with ribbon of thin lace and finish with a white dove in the center. As an alternative make your favors with silk and lace nets instead for a very pretty 'bridal' look.

For your favors you can choose items such as white candies, white chocolates or white candles. Mini soaps in a white or ivory color make a nice favor idea and are even nicer is delicately spotted with jasmine or vanilla.

As an alternative to the color white you could choose classic silver. This gives you options for photograph frames, candle holders, kitchen utensils and decorative objects such as paperweights. Crystal favors could also substitute for white with items such as crystal topped bottle stoppers, paperweights and candle holders.

If you want to give something edible then have custom cookies made and iced in shades of white fondant icing. Cookies give you many options in terms of size and decoration so you can easily coordinate them. Mini cakes have become popular as an alternative to wedding cake and can double as wedding favors also. Have small square cakes made and covered in white fondant. They can be topped with a white rose or heart made from sugar craft icing.
