[ad_1]

Some time ago I did an article on wedding food bars or stations but I am approaching the subject in a different way. There are so many different kinds of food stations you can have and it is fast becoming quite popular now as a way to serve your guests.

It is a way of letting them choose what they would really like to eat. May I add a less expensive way than a sit down meal, too.

My idea is to the give you a lot of food station ideas with brief descriptions and let you make your personal choices from there.

Before I get to that there are a few things to consider when doing food stations that will make them run smoothly and the guests more comfortable.

First, have a chef or person at each station to assist them in serving if needed and to make sure the food containers do not run low or out of food. It should always look plentiful.

To avoid a back-up of guests at a station, if possible allow them to be served from both sides.

Remember though that if there is some back up it is a very nice way for people to meet or visit while waiting to get their food.

Put a couple of people in charge of going to each station and doing wipe up of spills and keeping things clean and tidy.

Use your wedding theme or pick a station theme based on what is being served and decorate the station. Do remember though that food is the star and make the decorating simple but attractive and appealing.
