Benefits of a Pub As a Wedding Reception Venue

[ad_1]

There are a range of venues at which you can hold a wedding reception, hotels, church halls, neat houses and golf clubs to name a few, but if you are arranging your wedding on a budget there is no better reception venue than a pub.

Before scoffing at such an idea take some time to consider the facts. Whether you want a formal or informal feel to you wedding reception you could easily find a pub to suit. Similarly if you are having a traditional wedding, you can look to hold your reception in a traditional country pub, whereas if your day is having a more of modern twist, there are a number of stylish city pubs you can consider.

Food and drink are two of the main ingredients for a successful wedding reception so holding the after party in a pub is a great idea. A huge number of pubs have function rooms which can be rented out meaning your party would have the privacy it would need. Whether you want a finger buffet or a sit down meal, it is extremely likely the right pub would be able to cater to your needs.

In most reception venues you have to pay for caterers and then again for the bar, but in this instance that would not be necessary. Providing the alcohol would be simple as there is no better establishment and it is quite likely that drink prices will be cheaper, meaning any money put behind the bar will go a longer way than it would at other reception venues.

If you are worried about not having a dance floor, fear not. Most pubs will be able to kit the room out with a set of folding tables and chairs which can easily be put away once the food and speeches are done, to create a huge space for you and your guests to dance the night away.
