How to Keep the Memories of Your Wedding Day Special

[ad_1]

Your wedding day and honeymoon will be one of the best few weeks of your life. Once you are back in your daily routine it is all too easy to forget the wonderful time that you had. Here are some suggestions for keeping those special memories.

Keep a wedding journal to fill with your memories of the run up to your wedding and include fond memories of your honeymoon. Co-ordinate this with your wedding guest book and wedding photo album for a beautiful collection of memories.

Placing disposable cameras on your wedding tables may not give you the best quality pictures ever but will definitely give you a laugh. Ask guests to use them up and place the results in a scrapbook or insert them into your wedding guest book with other amusing memories of your big day.

Keep all of the bits and pieces that you collect in the run up to your wedding in a keepsake box. Make sure you keep a wedding invitation, menu and all the other keepsakes from your big day. This is a great way to keep all the bits that will not fit in your wedding album or wedding guest book. You can also use it for keeping postcards and souvenirs from your honeymoon.

A lot of your guests are bound to come equipped with a digital camera. While your photographer will do their best to capture all the moments of the day there are bound to be things that will be missed. Ask your guests to e-mail over their photos to compile in your wedding album. This will be an added extra to look forward when you return from honeymoon.

Your wedding bouquet can also be preserved for you to keep long after your big day. You could dry the pets yourself to reserve in your guest book or photo album. Or you could get a professional to reserve the whole bouquet and mount it in a shadow box so that you can admire it for years to come.

If you follow a few of these tips your special memories will be with you long after the big day.
