Kid's Wedding Favors – Getting it Right

[ad_1]

On your wedding day you will want to ensure that your guests have a great time and remember your wedding day fondly. In the case of those guests with children you will want to ensure that the kids themselves are well catered for. A bored child will almost certainly be a source of irritation for its parents which will then inhibit their ability to have a good time. It is therefore important to make your wedding a fun day for the children who will be attending.

At most times children will be free to move about and in many circumstances they will there inevitably find something to amuse themselves with, albeit a toy or an adult playing with them. However one time when they are generally required to sit still is during the wedding breakfast. Remember whilst it might seem like "only a few hours" this may seem like an eternity to some particularly active children so you will need to think about how they will be entertained at the table.

A range of wedding favors designed exclusively for the children is a great way to ensure they are kept entertained. Throw away the decidedly favorite favour boxes and nets and replace them with a fantastic range of character boxes such as dinosaurs, cars, pigs and teddy bears. Dispense with the filling of dragees or sugared almonds and bring in the Haribo, chocolate pennies or other chewy sweets. You could even include some small games in the favor containers such as those commonly found in Christmas crackers.

The key to creating good favours for the children is to think like a child (you might want to get the groom to do this!). Make it fun for the kids and you are sure to make the day enjoyable for their long suffering parents!
