Plan a Fall Wedding in Nashville Tennessee

[ad_1]

The months of September and October are very popular wedding months in and around middle Tennessee. There are probably more weddings in the fall in Nashville than even the springtime. The weather is typically beautiful and of course the fall colors can be spectacular. And with the fall season, certain wedding venues are perfect choices for wedding ceremonies.

With fall, you think of the country and going for drives in the country. Rolling hills, colorful leaves blowing to the ground, and barns dotting the landscape are quite beautiful and relaxing. So why not a wedding venue in the country with a barn?

Historic Cedarwood is a Nashville wedding location just a short drive from downtown Nashville. Once you get out there you would think you are good bit further out than that. It does have that country feel, and yes, definitely has a large barn. Some couples actually get married in the barn. The wedding staff at Cedarwood always design the wedding look to fit the season, the couple and the style of the wedding. For a fall wedding, you could expect to see pumpkins, gourds, always bails of hay and maybe even cornstalks.

If you want to get a bit further out from town, there's Front Porch Farms. This charming home sits a top a hill overlooking the countryside for miles around. The drive out toward Ashland City would be a beautiful one for you and your guests. There is ample room for very large weddings there, though of course small weddings also take place there. The site has a large covered reception area which could also be used as the funeral site in case it rained.

Another Nashville wedding idea, is to marry on a hillside or mountain. You do not have to go to the Smoky Mountains. Warner Park just at the end of Belle Meade Boulevard is a place where numerous couples have wed. It is generally suited for smaller more intimate weddings where you are not setting up chairs or other decorations. You would of course have your reception at another location.

One of the nice things about an outdoor wedding in the fall around Nashville, is that the earth does much of the decorating for you. In fact, sometimes by doing too much decorating you can distract from the natural beauty around you.

So, there you have it. A few ideas to get your creative juices flowing. Get with the trend and work out the details of your fall wedding in Nashville.
