Unusual Wedding Venues

[ad_1]

Have you ever been to a wedding where you later said "It was a nice ceremony"? I am going to give you some ideas that will change that statement to "Wow! What an Awesome Ceremony! A benefit to having your wedding somewhere somewhere other than a church is, you are not free to have the ceremony your way. goes for the wording of your ceremony to the way you all walk down the aisle.

Gazebo : Most towns have one, either in a park, the town square, some people have these in their backyard. Some are free to use and some require a fee. It does make for a lovely setting.

A Park: These are just about everywhere. There are many options to this. Take a ride to your local or state park and look around. You will know if this is for you or not. Most do not charge for this, though some do, especially if they have an area designated for this. Nothing beats an outdoor setting. I have seen a few parks where they also have a large building on the grounds for events such as this.

Backyard: This can be your own, a family member, friend, or even a neighbor. It can not hurt to ask. It just needs to be large enough for the wedding party and guests.

Local Hall: There are a large number of halls that are rented out for parties, and other events. Most of these are affordable. These can be decorated to your taste.

Yours, a Friends or Relative's House: This course depends on the size. Can you fit everyone comfortably?

A Lodge or Cabin: These make for a very romantic setting. The cost here can be a bit expensive. Unless you know someone who has access to one. The ceremony can be inside or outside.

Amusement Park: Of course this would be for a couple who Loves amusement parks. What fun that would be.

A Boat: This kind of venue varies from location to location. Check your local area to see if it is offered in your area.

Hotels: A large number of Hotels have rooms they rent out for events. Check your local listings. Prices vary on this venue.

Winery: These are very popular now. They are usually built with a beautiful setting around them. They also offer complete wedding packages. Some are pricey while others are not.

Someplace you both love spending time at: Only you two will know where this is!

Where you met: Of course this just depends on where that is.

Where you both work: Of course this will depend on where you work and if you do indeed work at the same place. It also depends on your employer.

Hot Air Balloon: This is for the more adventurous of couples. Oh, and you will need a willing Officiant!

One thing you have to keep in mind is: You have to do your own decorating, set up chairs, plan your music, and make sure you can accommodate everyone. This is where you can ask for help from friends, family and even your wedding party. This does not have to cost a fortune either. I once officiated a camouflage themed wedding where the seating was bales of hay draped with camouflage material and orange tulle. They set up an archway by the lake that was draped in the same material. It was a very charming and intimate ceremony. It just takes imagination. Just make sure the area is accessible to everyone. Some of these avenues can also serve as a reception venue as well. If you have somewhere in mind that you are not sure of, just ask. The worst that can happen is, they will say no.

These are just a few of the ideas out there for wedding venues. Hopefully this will help you think of some more. Do your research. I am sure you will find most of these ports in your local area. As far as your rehearsal goes you can hold this anywhere. It is just a matter of who walks down the aisle first, then who is next. This can be done in any order that you would like. If you are planning an add on to your ceremony such as: Sand Ceremony or Unity Candle, I would suggest the Sand ceremony if it is outdoors. The candle is very hard to light at an outdoor venue. Always have a backup plan in case of bad weather. You really do not want to get talked in a downpour on your big day. You may also need a place to get ready. Keep this in mind when you are scouting locations. Again, Do your research. See what is available too in your area. And never forget: You are only limited by your imagination! May your day be everything you ever dreamed of. And more.
