What to Look For in an Ideal Wedding Venues

[ad_1]

Have you always wanted to get married in a castle, stone floors resounding with the footfalls of your wedding party? The thick, cool walls stretching for the heavens, pausing only to make room for the window holes peppered through. Cradling your party in its defensive post it has held through the ages.

Maybe you have visions of getting married at the ruins of an old castle, driven toward the ground by the barrage of war past, green grass creeping its way up the steps and into the living quarters, slowly reclaiming the land. Your wedding party is enclosed within the inner chambers of the still remaining walls scarred by the battle of man and nature.

Maybe you've dreamed about being married in a small Kirk on a weather worn hill, trees shrouding it with protective branches. The little courtyard encircled by a white picket fence with wild flowers braiding them through the slats. Off in the distance, a hill painted purple by thistle and the sun blanketed light by a gauze of high level clouds. You and your wedding party mount the hill and enter through the little picket gate, the doors of the Kirk opened wide to greet you.

Maybe you would like something more grand, an old stone cathedral, stained glass windows sending showers of sparkling lights down upon the pews like handeds of jewels being tossed down from the heavens. The spiers pointing grandly up to the heavens as you and your party enter the towering doors and proceed down the center isle.

If historic is not for you, maybe you would like a more modern venue. There are many grand modern churches and many countryside cottage locations available for weddings, they have many catering levels, from just providing the location, to a full on catering including the cake. There are even large luxury villas (almost like castles) available for not only your wedding, but for accommodations after the wedding.

If you have country in your blood, maybe you would like a wedding on horseback, followed by accommodations at a grand farmhouse. Whatever your hearts desire for wedding locations, with research you will likely find them.

What you ever choose for your wedding site will depend very much on how you would like your wedding to be (what the theme will be if any). What sort of accommodations to your needs are provided, and how much you want the location to play a part in your wedding. Another part, of course, is the financial aspect. How much will the location cost and how much of your total needs will it supply for that cost.

Take into consideration what both of you desire as this day should reflect both of you, past, present and future
