I actually had been scared as heck before I had to present a best man speech at my brothers wedding reception. I have not considered myself to be a very good public speaker, and this made me particularly stressed. My brother had asked me about 5 months prior, and so I had a chance to prepare, however, it is one of those items you may easily postpone up until the eleventh hour.

Giving the best man speech is like some of those things you are actually thankful to take part in, neverheless it makes you anxious while doing so, so you postpone doing it for as long as possible. Ladies and gentlemen. It takes a strong and wise person to realize his ambitions and accomplish his plans in life and love. A person that is not afraid to live life to its fullest and embrace what is genuinely significant. But enough about me … I'm here to speak about John and Katherine. A couple which came together today to make a partnership which will certainly last forever. [raise your glass and face the bride] Katherine … you look unquestionably beautiful. John is lucky to have found such a wonderful woman to share his life with. John is my best friend and I am honored he chose me for being his best man for this most significant day for you. I wish the two of you peace and happiness in your new life with each other and may God bless your partnership.

Best Man Speech # 3

Ladies and gentleman. I met John in 2004. We have been friends for more than 17 years. In this time, he has established himself to always be not just a terrific friend, but a really great man too. I value my friendship with John and I also look forward to having the similar excellent friendship with his beautiful new bride Katherine. I recognize one critical thing regarding Katherine. She's made John more content than I have ever before seen him. Today is a time of joy and happiness for all of us. But it is not only a day … it's the very wonderful beginning of a new life in between John and Katherine. I wish both of you health and happiness and may God bless your matrimony.

Best Man Speech # 4

To our friends – old and new. It is an honor for me to be here … to celebrate this really big day for John and Katherine. Dale Carnegie originally stated: Do not ask a man what's important to him. Observe how he devotes his time. "I have observed John devote his time, and I can easily see what is significant to him.

It's Katherine. She has made John a happy man … a guy with a brand new focus … a person with a new gratitude for love and life. I have known John and Katherine for 9 years and I'm able to seriously state that they are ideal for one another. These were both great individuals when they met. Today as a team, they are going to set about a new voyage together as man and wife. John and Katherine [rise wine glass] I toast both of you, and wish both of you serenity, health and well-being.

Many of them are silly and some serious, however, you may use these best man speech examples as you view fit.
