Coordinating Your Wedding Favors

[ad_1]

Wedding favors will provide the finishing touch to your tables and as such they need to correspond with your wedding colors, theme or style. Whilst the choice of actual favor is not always so important, it is the final presentation that is. The way you wrap and decorate your wedding favors should bring unity to your tables and your whole wedding scheme.

Color is the most important aspect. You will have a choice of maybe two or three colors, possible more. Incorporating them into your wedding favors is not difficult:

o Ribbons – you can use just one in a single color or tie together two or three in all your wedding colors.
o Boxes and bags are available in a wide range of colors and can be coordinated with ribbons etc so all your wedding colors are included.
o Embellishments – paper or silk flowers, fresh flowers, stick on decorations, 3D stickers etc.
o Tags, stickers and labels can all be printed in a range of colors with colored fonts, graphics, borders etc.

When considering your packaging you may find it a fruitless search for your wedding wedding colors, particularly if you have chosen a very specific shade. Although the range of colors available is beginning to follow wedding color trends suppliers and manufacturers will not make or stock colors which will not sell well.

If your chosen colors are not available then choose white, ivory or cream as appropriate and add your wedding colors by the means of ribbons, embellishments, tags etc.

If you are making your own wedding favors rather than buying them, then it is easy to coordinate them to your wedding. Cookies for instance are an easy favor to coordinate as you can choose the best shape to match and ice them in your wedding colors. In this case a clear cellophane wrapper is the best choice to showcase your favors and you can add further color with some ribbon around the top.

Embellishments provide you with a range of options to decorate your favors to coordinate with your wedding. These are especially good if you are having a themed wedding, for instance, adding small shells to the top of boxes for a beach wedding or feather butterflies for a garden wedding. Check out what is available at your local craft store or through online retailers. Scrap booking stores and sites will offer you the best choice as scrap booking incorporated many small elements into page designs, such as diamante buckles, chipboard letters, 3D stickers, pretty buttons & lots more.

Coordinating your wedding favors with your wedding is not a difficult task as long as you consider the style and / or theme of your wedding and incorporate your wedding colors either in the favor itself or in the packaging.
