Unique Wedding Favors Say Personal Thanks To Special Guests

[ad_1]

Planning weddings means many different tasks for bride, groom and the whole family, but one that can be pleasant as well as challenging is finding unique wedding favors for guests and for the party. These can range from the very inexpensive and even homemade tokens to the very lavish.

Most truly unique wedding favors come from unique wedding themes. A wedding on the beach naturally lends itself to beach favors, which could be anything that includes an ocean or beach theme. Picture frames with seashells could have a nice favor, with a picture of the bride and groom holding up a "thank you for sharing our day" poster, or could use mermaids, Neptune or anything else related.

Winter wedding favors could even be scarves or mittens with a small monogram of the date as a
keepsake. Other winter themes would relate to the holidays near them. If a jewelry gift was the favor a couple had in mind, snowflakes make a nice winter note to choose.

Other ones will relate to what the couple does for a living or what leisure activities they enjoy. A couple who were both doctors and who had a very casual fun fun wedding game "doctor kits" to their guests along with other children's toys and the reception was hysterical as all the adults played with their toys. The favors also included a book on humor as good medicine.

Another wedding couple based their theme on being big auto racing fans and their unique wedding favors were caps and glasses with a racing theme. Tables were decorated with red, green, white and checkerboard flags and coasters were printed to look like tires. Their cake was shaped like a race car and had the date as its number and their names and the party names as "sponsors" on the car.

For a couple who had a lavish medieval themed wedding, each guest received a truly unique gift in the form of a silver goblet with the commemorative date and their name engraved on it. Beverages were served in these goblets at the peak and the guests got to discover their goblet was personalized just for them!

Many can be something hand-crafted, both to save money and to provide something that shows real care and attention to detail. Others can be extravagant but fitting. One couple have a digital camera to everyone present and had a printer set up to immediately make pictures to share with the couple and each other. Since some digital cameras now sell for less than $ 20, this is not even as expensive as you would think. What matters is that the gift says a warm and personal "thank you" to your guests.
