Intricate patterns and bright colors are common in Indian wedding dress, and some examples may even include pure silver and gold. Fabrics are usually those reflect light well, like satins and chiffons, and may be artificial or natural. Cotton and silk are common, but modern Indian wedding dresses may also be made of polyester or other man made materials.
