Dance at Your Wedding

[ad_1]

Have you ever had someone tell you, I wish I could learn to dance for my wedding (or at someone else's)? It's not too late, no matter how young or old you are. It's really pretty surprising how few movements you need to know to look good on the dance floor. There are classes almost everywhere across the country, here and abroad. The most familiar is Ballroom Dancing, like that on "Dancing With The Stars". The dancing they do is at a level far more advanced than most of us will ever develop to. However, if this is what you strive for, it is obtainable. Many of the Ballroom Dance Clubs welcome dancers from very basic, to those at higher levels. Every one dances at the same time, at the level they are comfortable with, and move continuously across the dance floor.

There are other groups that do the same movements. However, they use pre-choreographed dances. With this style you would likely do the same routine to a particular piece of music no matter where you went to dance. This is most recently referred to as "Choreographed Ballroom Dancing". With this style, rather than initially memorizing a sequence of movements to do with most any song in a particular rhythm (such as Waltz, Rhumba, Cha Cha, and more), you would learn the steps. Then you would dance the steps as they are given. This way you can dance a variety of sequences, without the need to memorize them. There are Clubs across the country, as well as world wide, that participate in this style of dance. Many of these groups are also associated with other Clubs that do a mixture of Choreographed Ballroom and Modern Western Square Dance.

If this sounds like something of interest, stay tuned for more information to come.
