Another excellent idea is to ask each of your parents, your bridesmaids and groomsmen, your attendees, or any combination of these to find some sand on their own and bring it for you to use in the ceremony. All those associated with the bride will fill her vase and all those associated with the groom will fill his. Now, you not only have the beautiful memory of the ceremony, but each of those who have been special in your individual lives now are also part of the blended support structure that will bless your united life. They will have had their own personal touch added to the ceremony and will likely be honored by your request. In a way, it will be your guest's own wedding favor to you! Since wedding ceremonies are celebrations, what better way to celebrate than to have everyone involved!
