How to Buy and Use Clip in Hair Extensions

[ad_1]

There are certain factors you are going to have to take into consideration when it comes to choosing clip in hair extensions including things such as grams. What you may not realize is that hair is sold in grams, the more grams the thicker or longer the hair is going to be. When you are choosing clip ins, you need to know how many grams each clip holds, obviously the more the better based on length, as this means a thicker weft that you can rely on and trust with confidence.

The next big decision you are going to have to make is to find the length of hair that you want. Usually clip in's will come in three lengths, sixteen inch will come on your bra line, twenty inch will sit just below your bra line and twenty four inch will sit on the pocket of your jeans. Remember the longer you choose, the heavier the clip ins will be, so take this into consideration when making your choice.

What type of hair is going to work best for what you want and need. Do you need Remy hair, which is hair which still has the cuticles in fact and all goes in the same direction, do you need natural human hair or is synthetic an alright option for what you need. If you intend only wearing the extensions now and again, then synthetic may be the solution for you, but if you want to wear them to increase your hair volume on a daily basis, then you want to choose natural hair extensions, which will enhance the look of your own hair now and moving forward.

If you want to limit damage to your natural hair, then clip in extensions are definitely the option to go. Remember the length of your hair is going to impact whether you can use clip in hair extensions. Those with short hair will struggle with these options as the chances of the clips showing through is higher than if you have longer hair which can cover the clips easily and effectively.

The good news is that clip in hair extensions are very easy to use and you will find that you can put them in on your own within minutes, rather than relying on a hair salon to do it for you and leaving you with a very expensive bill at the end.

Using clip in hair extensions is a quick process which requires a comb or brush, a crocodile clip and your extensions. Start at the base and work your way up to the crown of your head. Take the longest weft for lower down and part your hair sideways just below the ears. Hold the hair up with a clip and then tease your hair on the one side, before placing the first clip into place. Pull the weft to the other side and repeat.

Allow your natural hair to fall and then place the next weft just above your ears after the same steps as listed above. Once your natural hair is in place, you can add one more weft to the crown of your head. Ensure the clips are not showing and you are ready to go.
