How to Look Gorgeous This Wedding Season

[ad_1]

With the wedding season upon us there is a lot of hustle on the part of people in an effort to look their best. It is important to get everything right, from the hair right down to the footwear you'll choose. Getting gorgeous for the wedding season is not necessarily a task allotted to makeup people and stylists, it is something you can practice yourself and make sure that you are looking like a million bucks at whatever occasion you are attending.

Stay hydrated

While it can be a lot of fun and dance, weddings can also turn out to be time consuming affairs. Even otherwise staying hydrated is important for your hair and skin as it flushes out the harmful toxins and gives your skin a natural glow. Make sure that when at a wedding party you keep yourself hydrated. Lack of water can often make you irritable and cause headaches, keeping yourself hydrated is a simple way to keep looking good and healthy.

Light exercise on the day

Indulging in some light exercises for about thirty minutes on the day you are to attend the wedding can give you a nice lasting glow about your face. However, if you are not in the habit of working out it can leave you quite tired, and the opposite of glowing. Simple light exercises like jogging or walking or even swimming can work out well to lend that healthy glow about you.

Face therapy

If you know that you have oily skin or extremely dry skin use the appropriate facemask on the morning of the event. Keep enough time for your routine. Doing this on a regular basis can be very good for your skin and keeps your skin healthy. Take time out to do your eyebrows and make sure that they are perfect.

Go easy on the makeup

A cardinal sin at weddings is slathering on too much makeup. Give your face the opportunity to let its natural glow shine through. Nude shades of lip gloss are an absolute delight and try not to skimp on the mascara, those smoky eyes need to be highlighted. A little bit of concealer under the eyes can give your face a nicely lit up look but beware of too much rouge, unless you prefer to look like you have apples stuffed in your cheeks.

Get that hair right

Work on a hair-do you can carry easily through the many weddings you may have to attend during the wedding season. Any style that stretches or pulls your hair too much can wreak havoc on your hair. Find a style that suits your face and is easy to carry without undue effort. Be gentle on your hair, the wedding season will be over, but your hair is going to stay.

Get the scent right

Smelling nice is a must at wedddings. However, there is nothing like putting on a very heavy perfume that leaves others reeling in your wake. Go light on the fragrance and make sure you spritz it and not spray.
