Middle-Aged Brides – Celebrate Your Confidence at Your Perfect Wedding Ceremony and in Your Marriage

[ad_1]

Nothing is more attractive at a wedding than a woman (or man) who is calm and confident in herself and in her choices. That leads to a bride's sailing down the aisle, not rushing the moment, because every single thing is perfect. Perfect friends, perfect family and perfect mate – for her. When it's right, you want to take the time to saunter through life, no need to rush, because there's no place better than right here.

The confidence of young people is often a bit hard-edged and arrogant. It's fun to watch but there's also that train-wreck thing, because you know it will meet some obstacles. But a woman in her middle age has weathered some storms and figured out some fairly important things. It's not to say we do not mess up as time goes on, but we have made many of our big mistakes already and can move on to faux pas. When a sign says cliff ahead, a smart, confident woman slows down on the curves. She knows the journey IS the destination.

You know your responsibilities and you know how to handle them. (And when you can not, you know that you go get help.

  1. You know your style . You're not wearing a wedding dress that does not flatter simply because it's trendy. You're probably getting married in a color that flatters you (which may or may not be ivory, cream or white!). You're having a wedding that is comfortable for you.
  2. You know what you're good at and how to work around the other stuff . That's true at work and it's going to be very true at your wedding!
  3. You know your guests . You've planned a party that is right for them. You've figured out whether it's better to have children there or not and you've found a "staff person for the day" for your elderly parents.
  4. You know it's right for you, your lifestyle, (your children?), To be marrying this wonderful partner.

Use your wedding ceremony to celebrate the integrity of your life and your comfort with that. Create wedding vows that will encourage the two of you to continue your confidence in your decisions and your enjoyment of life. Live into your marriage secure in your sense of self and your delight in your beloved's own confidence. It will make your marriage so much more interesting and exciting. Interesting and exciting are good things for a marriage to be!
