Maybe inside each and every adult is a kid not quite ready to grow up and accept the responsibilities of the world. This is the one night of the year that adults can dress up and act like kids again without the worry of being laughed at for what outfit they're wearing. Everyone knows why Halloween is so popular; it's because of all the Sweets and candy you get on this night. When the sweets and candy are left out of the equation, what makes this night so special to adults? It can not be the sweets and candy; that is without you have an uncontrollable sweet tooth which I know a lot of us do. It's most likely to be the Halloween outfits and dressing up as your favorite character from a movie or book that draws you into the excitement of Halloween.
In fact, these characters are so popular that you're likely to bump into someone wearing the exact same costume as you are. Freddy Krueger Halloween Outfit from A Nightmare on Elm Street is still a popular Halloween costume to wear, which was first seen in the late 80's. Other villainous characters from horror movies, such as Jason from Friday the 13th Halloween Outfit, will likely be seen wherever you are on Halloween night – there's just no escaping the man in the hockey mask.
Since the release of the Tim Burton live-action version of Alice in Wonderland, the Mad Hatter and Alice have become popular fancy dress costumes to wear once again. People have been dressing up as their favorite character for as long as Halloween has exhausted; sure it may have been the Gothic Rag Doll or the Werewolf costume that was most commonly seen, but that does not mean you still can not see a bed sheet ghost costume or a wicked witch with her pointy nose and mangled broom still today.
There has not been a 007 movie in ages, but that will not stop someone from showing up at the fancy dress party dressed up as James Bond. What makes these costumes so popular is that it lets people live out their fantasies in real life for at least one night without any exceptions and without any rules. It's the fun of pretending that invokes everyone to dress up as their favorite character and enjoy the night one more time – just as they did when they were kids.
Which costumes are the most popular the old classics like Ghosts and Ghouls or the more recent characters from the latest block buster films. Which ever one it is I hope you will be wearing one this Halloween, do not be scared be very scared !!!
