We can all agree that spray tanning can look very natural and make a person very attractive. It is true that it can be safer than basking in the sun. Sun tanning can cause melanoma or skin cancer. The unfortunate thing is that it is not for everyone. You can not just go and get a tan, you have to find out what tone will look right on you. Unlike the natural way of getting a tan where you can just get indoors as soon as you got the color you want, spray tanning lasts to darken for hours. With some skin types, and hair colors the tan could become a disaster.
If you have very light blond hair color you need to be more careful with the tone you want. Very light hair may clash with very dark skin. You might come out looking like an alien with hair. The way to solve this is to darken your hair with a hair dye or just to choose a lighter tone. A dark tan can look great on those with dark hair or dirty blond. If you have red hair a dark tan might not be right for you without you change your hair color.
Some want to get a quick spray tan before they go to a party. This is okay but if you have never had a spray on tan before then do not even think about it. Sure, you see everyone doing it and they look great but it is not for everyone. If you are going somewhere special like a wedding or especially if it is your wedding do not dare get a first time spray tan. You have never done it before so you do not know if it will look good on you or not. It might look great, but what if you come out looking like a freak? What would you do if your wedding is the next day? You can not cover a spray tan with makeup and you can not show up.
If your wedding is at least a month away you can begin to experiment with spray tanning. You can make adjustments and change your hair color if necessary. If it does not turn out right then you do not have to worry, because you have more than enough time for the tan to come off.
