Why do you want to make a wedding speech? Do you feel you are under pressure to make one? You may have the attitude you have to make a speech and you want to get it over as quickly as possible. How do you enjoy it? Be enthusiastic. Decide this will be the most enthusiastic speech you can make. Your enthusiasm will carry you through. Enthusiasm is contagious and the audience will be kept up by it. How can you be enthusiastic about something you do not really want to do? Simply act enthusiastically. If you do not believe it will work, try it on something else you do not really like. It will change your attitude.

2. Make a short, warm, to-the-point speech. You can make a speech in under a minute. Simply get up, say what you have to say – thank everyone for sharing the day with you; thank the important people in your life; say how happy you are and then sit down. Make sure you do it graciously and with a big smile. To make it even easier, learn you speech off by heart. That way you will be more relaxed and confident.
