Getting the Perfect Wedding Card on a Budget

[ad_1]

As you are probably well aware there are lots of wedding cards to choose from. From personalized handmade cards, to bulk, store bought cards you are literally spoiled for choice. If you are working towards a budget, finding that perfect wedding card may be a little more time consuming than first anticipated. In this article I will provide bits of advice and tips as to how you can get the perfect wedding card on a budget.

Firstly let's talk about your budget. How much do you have to spend and what do you want to get for your money. Once you have established a budget, stick to it.

After creating your budget I would then recommend you decide exactly what you want and why. What do you have to have on your wedding card, and what is a luxury. I would start collecting ideas and designs and putting them together in a scrapbook. This way you can see what you want, and show others if required.

After deciding what you want and why, I would not advise you to begin searching online and offline stores. There are literally hundreds of stores both online and offline that selling wedding cards. If you tried to trawl through them, and search them all it would totally consume you. So my advice would be to create a short list of say 10 suppliers. Visit them or contact them to see what they can offer you and browse their catalogs / displays for ideas and inspiration. I always find that if you tell the store what your budget is, they will be more than happy to accommodate you and help you find that perfect wedding card for your budget.

If you still can not find that perfect wedding card within your budget then I would strongly recommend making your own. This may sound more hassle than it is worth, but creating and making your own wedding card can be fun, enjoyable and stress free. You can personalize every aspect of the card from the word to the envelope. If this sounds ideal for you then Stationery, crafting kits and supplies can be bought reasonably priced, and what better way to get across what you mean in your card by doing it yourself. If making a card yourself I would advise you to do a bit of trial and error before creating the finished product. This way you will be able to see what works and what does not for you.
