It's unfortunate that Adelaide has a bit of a bad reputation as being a little bit boring and what's worse is, this reputation is propagated by the younger generation who prefer the exclusion of Hollywood and MTV. The truth is that Adelaide can be a very exciting city to visit but you just need to do your research first!
One of the best times of year to visit Adelaide is around the January to March period, this is the time of year when there are lots of exciting Adelaide events such as the Adelaide Festival, Wom Adelaide, the Fringe Festival and the Clipsal 500.
These events draw in artists, performers and sports people from all over the world and because of this the city totally comes alive with lots of things to see and do.
Hundreds of thousands of people get involved in these events each year because there is basically something for everyone.
The Adelaide Fringe Festival is probably my favorite Adelaide event of the year because there are artists from all over the world who come here to participate in a wide variety of genres including comedy, dance, art, drama and music.
The Adelaide Fringe is considered one of the best run events in the world and competes with the Edinburgh Fringe Festival for the title of the best Fringe Festival in the world.
There is no doubt about it, if you want to see what Adelaide has to offer be sure to come and check out the Adelaide Fringe Festival, you will be surprised at how awesome it really is!
