- Often the Bride and Groom will also speak to declare their love, express their hopes for the future, and to reflect on the special occasion.
- Guests of the Wedding: Guests are often invited to speak at a wedding. These speeches tend to be shorter than the ones of the wedding party and may simply be a blessing or shorter wedding toast.
- Most speeches are under five minutes in length. They can contain a short story about the bride or groom.
- Speeches can be presented to the bride and groom in a framed format as a wedding gift.
