Spring is that time of the year that brings a fresh start and a sense of replenishment – an ideal time for a bracing venture welcomed by a wedding ceremony. If rain is in the forecast skip light colors, try opting for darker-toned pumps. Avoid putting on satin shoes because of April showers. Keep in mind that an umbrella and raincoat are necessary no matter what the weather forecast. The possibility of spring showers is always there and particularly at night the spring air carries a chill.

These days more brides wish to add a hint of color in their wedding dresses – it maybe an all over hint of pink or probably a sash of baby blue or even light multihued embroidery. At a spring wedding such touches will look splendid. As a bridesmaid gift, give your bridesmaids wraps to wear. Try choosing dresses with sleeves on them. Also cardigan sweaters can be worn to go for a more vintage look. Try something new by selecting turquoise or lime green dresses for your bridesmaids, accompanied by pink bouquets.

Men appear very well dressed for a daytime wedding dressed in tan suits, colored shirts and matching ties. For men, it is essential to recognize that black-tie or formal attire refers to a tuxedo or dark suit and tie. A pashmina wrap with an empire-waist gown maybe suitable for women and one could even tryout a full-length satin skirt with beaded shell. For springtime nuptials, it is acceptable to choose black or white colors so feel free to wear both. Ladies have the option of wearing a white dress with an embroidered pastel cardigan or a black suit with a contrasting shell.
